Rockville's Fall Sports League Registration Now Open
Youth and Adult Teams Available
ROCKVILLE, Md., July 9, 2012 - Make a plan to stay fit and social this fall by joining one of Rockville's many different teams. The City offers youth soccer, football and cross-country and adult softball, basketball, volleyball and kickball. More than 300 youth members and 100 adult teams participate in a fall league.
Youth soccer league games begin Saturday, Sept. 8, and games will be played in Rockville parks. Cross-country meets begins Saturday, Oct. 6, and both sports will hold practices once a week. Youth football play begins Labor Day weekend. For more information, visit http://www.rfl.cc/.
Start dates, schedules and costs for adult sports vary. Rockville offers men's softball and basketball, women's volleyball, and co-rec softball, volleyball and kickball.
League play begins:
- Aug. 20 - Men's Softball
- Aug. 31 - Co-Rec Softball
- Sept. 6 - Women's Volleyball
- Sept. 6 - Co-Rec Kickball
- Sept. 10 - Co-Rec Volleyball/Monday
- Sept. 12 - Men's Basketball
